Just saw this with my boyfriend tonight and it was amazing, y'all put on a hell of a show. I knew Alfred Molina was great, but the surprise standout acting from this was John Douglas Thompson. Unbelievably powerful performance, it was an amazing surprise and the audience was incredibly invested in the play with him and Molina going at it.
I've always found her character from "Stand and Deliver" beautiful!! 💯

There will only be one Janis but this chick is the best I've seen . Don't know how good how acting chops are but if they ever make a film on Joplin they should make it soon before she gets too old for the part.
